Me, this week!

January is finally over.
I feel sorry for January, it seems to be a universally hated month. But with good reason. It’s the post holiday dip, winter has well and truly lost any charm or novelty value, but it still feel like ages till the spring. But January was a month that happened, so now it’s time for a monthly update.
What’s new?
On the publishing front, nothing was new from me in January. But in other news, I’m (hopefully) selling a business so that I’ll have more time to focus on writing soon. I’ve also booked ahead all my editing slots for this year. So with a lot of work and a bit of luck, I will manage to publish five new books in 2016.
This is the plan.
This leads me nicely onto….
What’s next?

My next book, The Law of Attraction, will be out on Friday 5th of Feb – four more sleeps a the time of writing this post 🙂 You can pre-order it now if you want to get it on your kindle on Friday morning!

What’s in the pipeline?
Despite January being so Januaryish, I managed to get my head down and meet my writing goals. I started the month with about 5,000 words of something I wasn’t sure about. By the end of Jan I had 40,000 words of Imperfect Harmony. It’s still unfinished (I think it will end up around 50-55k), but it has a title, and a gorgeous cover (that I’ll show off in due course), and I need to get it to my editor by Feb 22nd. Yikes. If all goes well I’m hoping to publish it sometime around the end of April.

So, that’s my news for January. Thank you for reading! How did your month go?
Leave me a comment below to be entered in a draw for an ecopy of one of my backlist books. I always wonder how many people are reading these monthly updates, so that seems like a good way to find out 😉
I’ll pick a winner on Friday 5th Feb.
I hope February is awesome for you. Have a good one!
